Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to fill the role of Data Security, Network Engineer, and IT Infrastructure Specialist. This multifaceted position involves responsibilities spanning data security, network engineering, and IT infrastructure management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our organization’s data, as well as maintaining a robust and efficient IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Data Security:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce data security policies and procedures.
  • Utilize encryption, access controls, and data masking techniques to protect sensitive information.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential risks.
  • Stay current on emerging threats and technologies, adapting security measures accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the organization.

Network Engineering:

  • Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable network architectures.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, addressing issues to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other network security measures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a resilient and efficient IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of servers, storage, and other infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
  • Document IT infrastructure configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Incident Response and Compliance:

  • Respond to security incidents promptly, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan and participate in drills to test its effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data security, network engineering, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, network architecture, and IT infrastructure best practices.
  • Experience with firewall configuration, VPN implementation, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools for infrastructure management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, and ITIL is desirable but not mandatory. DevOps knowledge and experience is a plus.
