Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Software Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The Software Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, document business processes, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
    Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to ensure a comprehensive understanding of user needs.
  • Documentation:
    Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring effective communication.
    Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather and validate requirements and provide project updates.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
    Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases based on business requirements.
    Participate in UAT to validate that the delivered solutions meet business needs.
  • Process Improvement:
    Analyze and document current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
    Provide recommendations for optimizing business processes through technology solutions.
  • Change Management:
    Assess the impact of changes on existing systems and processes.
    Work with stakeholders to manage and communicate changes effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring their needs and priorities are understood and addressed.
    Manage expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify potential risks and issues related to requirements and propose mitigation strategies.
    Proactively address challenges to project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools, Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience in prototyping and wireframing tools like figma.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
